RU MISSION STATEMENT

 

RU is a biblically based, Christ-centered recovery program designed to rescue, recover, and restore those in addictive behaviors with the power of the victorious hidden life found only in Jesus Christ.

In these life-changing meetings, we explore key biblical truths that are essential to overcoming addiction through a personal, dynamic walk with Jesus Christ. The RU program’s insightful teaching, literature and booklets have helped many experience freedom in their lives. What is addiction? Websters dictionary defines it as follows;

1. a compulsive, chronic, physiological or psychological need for a habit-forming substance, behavior, or activity having harmful physical, psychological, or social effects and typically causing well-defined symptoms (such as anxiety, irritability, tremors, or nausea) upon withdrawal or abstinence.

2. a strong inclination to do, use, or indulge in something repeatedly
